These terms cover your use of this website, operated by Thuma Express Holdings, Inc. They are deliberately short, because the agreement that matters — the ThumaBooks service terms you would actually be bound by as a customer — is a different document with a different standard of care behind it.
1. What this site is
Information about ThumaBooks: what it does, how it is built, and what we intend to charge. The interactive examples on this site (such as the journal demonstration) are illustrations that run the product's arithmetic; they are not the service, and nothing you type into them leaves your browser.
2. No advice
Nothing on this site is accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Descriptions of VAT, IMTT or fiscalisation describe how the software behaves, not what you should file. For advice, engage an accountant — the product is built to be used alongside one.
3. The service terms
Use of the ThumaBooks service itself is governed by the ThumaBooks service terms, presented to you inside the product before you agree to anything, together with the group's General Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and — for business customers — Data Processing Agreement. The service terms are being finalised with counsel and will be published before any customer is asked to accept them. We do not ask anyone to agree to a document they have not been shown.
4. Accuracy of this site
We keep this site truthful — that is a house rule, not a legal warranty. Where a figure here (such as an intended price) differs from what the product shows you at the moment of decision, the product wins. If you find the difference, tell us: hello@thumabooks.com.
5. Intellectual property
The ThumaBooks name, the Thuma marks and this site's content belong to Thuma Express Holdings, Inc. and its group. Quote fairly, with attribution.
6. Liability for this website
This website is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on this website's content — see §4 for the honest version of the same sentence.
